Another 2.5 weeks

This stuff is getting even more annoying. I now do just a bit more than "half a cap full" because it messes with your hair. It acts too much like a mousse and makes really dry hair and gets a little matted looking. So I just a bit extra at night now. Here is an update before I put any on which I'm about to do.

(This picture was taken after a week of a #4 buzz cut. I think it helps get some of my kinks and waves out which made a lot of blank areas for me.)

When my hair is dry after the entire day it looks a little more "full" but when you put this Rogaine Foam on, it gets wet and you can see more scalp.

Also, I'm still using a multi-vitamin and biotin just for an extra boost. I stopped taking Horsetail Silica because the pill is pretty gross and kinda big. Rogaine Foam doesn't mention anything about taking supplements either so I guess it's just for me and I've been excersing more than usual, and walking my dog longer distances. All of these combined can boost energy and promote more hair...or at least that is what I'm hearing.

One Week Later

So I decided the only true way to regrow hair was from within. I feel like I can't rely on just an average diet so to boost the Rogaine Foam I decided to add some supplements to my daily routine.

I researched supplements and found a plant called Horsetail that has been proven to regrow hair and paired up with Silica and Biotin, which is a B vitamin (great for hair, skin and nails), it can really boost hair growth from the inside out.

So I'm one week in using Rogaine Foam twice a day. Still no results but they say it takes awhile. Plus it's only for the Vertex, or crown, so I'm hoping the supplements will boost everything else over all.

I'm also disappointed in this product so far.

1. What's up with the foam sizzling away so fast?
2. If the foam just turns to wet stuff, why not make it more of a roll on? It would be controlled so much easier.
3. There's no way to really measure so you might use too little or too much.
4. The cap is too tamper proof. I've struggled with it so much I just let it hang off the nozzle. Who are they protecting? Is it that toxic that no one but your poor scalp can touch it? Yikes.

I'm going to see how I feel about it in a month. So far I'm like "eh this is weird" and I'm only doing this for future Rogaine Foam users.

Results coming soon...I hope! Stay tuned.

PS: I usually spike my hair in front and have mastered the comb over but I still have lots of hair, just in the picture it makes it look really awful because it's wet and dark looking from the foam.

Day 1

This is day one of using the Rogaine Foam. It came in a 3 month supply but they say it can take between 2 and 4 months to see results.

You'll notice in the picture it looks REALLY dark and thin, but that is because it is wet from the foam. It's like mousse. It's usually more fluffy but definitely thin still when dry.

And as for the picture, I had to prop myself up against a door jam because the shelf I took the picture on was really low and I was bending my feet.
